The Weekend course

The 50th Anniversary Course 2026 and the Ball, is open to intermediate and advanced dancers, and will be held at the assembly hall “Kvarntorpsgården” situated in Täby in the North-Eastern part of Greater Stockholm. 

Regarding accommodation we recommend Scandic Hotel Täby https://www.scandichotels.com/taby appr. 5 min walk from the dance hall. The venue has good communications to the City Center.

Fees

The price for the dance festivities from Friday to Sunday is € 210including social dancing, classes, three meals and the Ball. Beverages can be bought in the bar. (Major credit cards accepted)

Early Bird Price (i.e. registration made before 20th of March) will be

€ 180. A non-refundable deposit of € 40 has to be paid at the time of registration and the rest of the fee. (€ 140 for early birds, €170 for late entries) has to be paid not later than 30th of April 2026

With this invitation we are following up the successful weekend courses from 2016, 2019 and 2023 (with the magnificent “teams” Gary Coull/Jennifer Wilson 2016. William Williamsson/Ian Muir 2019, and Deb Lee/Roger Malton 2023), and are now happy to announce our fourth Summer Weekend Course which also coincides with our 50^th Anniversary

This year it will take place the 12^th- 14^th of June and again be held by an outstanding team, Gary Coull, David Oswald and & Gillian Stevenson.

Gary who is the present (May 2025) Chairman of RSCDS, is well known

by all and was our teacher at our 40^th anniversary and David and Gillian are also well-known musicians, that we very much look forward on having at our anniversary.
